Run starts and finishes at Brick House Campground in Sumter National Forest between Newberry and Spartanburg. Course is 100% trails with a 4 1/2 mile out and back connecting to a 25 mile loop, a few rolling hills, a few roots and rocks, a very runnable trail. Course crosses several creeks which may have water in them, passes by old cemeteries and plantation sites and should abound with wildflowers in May.

There will be 4 well-stocked aid stations with a wide variety of food and drinks, plus 2 water stops. Carry at least one water bottle. Food at the finish. No cut-off times. Unique awards to all finishers.

Directions to Brick House Campground: Take Exit 60 (Joanna) off of I-26, drive northeast 3.7 miles on SC66. At Forest Service Road 358 turn right (south) and follow the road to the campground. There are 23 sites at the Campground, vault toilets, no showers, no water, cost is $5 per night. Nearest motel accomodations would be in Clinton, about 14 miles away or Newberry, about 18 miles. For those not camping, there is a daily parking fee of $3.
